What? You've never heard of Death Metal?

Well, me neither for that matter. Or at least that I could immediately recall.

This is a free sketch for :iconvermx: who seems to derive pleasure from requesting characters that I have never heard of. But I don't really have any qualms with drawing a huge metal monster with fangs and claws.

So the question still remains...who is Death Metal?

He was a character from the Marvel UK universe that is long defunct but experimented with by the big M back in '93. Still want to know more? Well follow this link...[link]

So there you go, VermX, here's your free sketch of the utlra obscure character that hasn't been seen for going on 15 years.;)

I drew this last night and then added in the additional shading this afternoon. Enjoy!

That's odd. The art on this reminded me of the covers from that Death's Head mini Marvel put out back in the (I think) early 90s. I believe Death's Head was originally a UK character, too. Weird. Anyway, nice piece.

Heh. Well, he's one of the better, most bad-assed obsecure characters in Marvel history, in my opinion. Right alongside the first two Death's Heads. Very underrated cyborgs. I think they deserve modern revivals. Hell, their own God of War/Devil May cry style video game would rock!. . . .


And your take on DM kicks ass, too. Thank you for drawing him!
